A Marion County native recently graduated from the U.S. Air Force’s basic military training at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Airman Blake D. Crawmer of Knoxville completed the intensive eight-week program which included training in military discipline and studies, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. By completing this training, Crawmer was also able to earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Air Force’s Community College. Blake is a 2010 graduate of Knoxville High School and the son of Shannon Sears of Knoxville and Trent Crawmer of Urbandale.
