The location of a new agricultural manufacturer has been announced. The Lely company specializes in the manufacture of dairy implements like automatic milkers and feeders. Chad Huyser, Director of Sales and Operations says weather permitting, they will break ground in the spring on the northeast portion of the Vermeer complex. Plans for the facility have been in the works for about a year and hopes that they will be in production by early 2012. Huyser says the company will create 30-35 jobs by the end of the year with tentative plans to add to the workforce depending on reception of their products to the US market. Lely was founded in Holland in 1948 and has had a US presence since 1963.
