A well-played game by both teams ended on a controversial tone last night as the P-C-M girls basketball squad fell to Bondurant-Farrar 48-46. The game was tied at 46 with six seconds to play when P-C-M committed a turnover with just over three seconds remaining. After a Bluejay timeout, P-C-M was called for a foul with a tenth of a second remaining, allowing Bondurant’s Bobbi Burrows to convert both free throws and ice the game. Mustangs Coach Ben Anderson said whether or not it was a foul was not the issue. He said his team had plenty of chances to put the game away in the final minutes and could not take advantage. Taylor Bianchi led P-C-M with 12 points all in the first half.
