The Pella boys came out swinging Friday night, and landed a knockout punch in just 8 minutes. Leading 30-6 after one frame, Pella had no trouble winning their third straight game Friday night, as the 83-25 score clearly showed.

Pella forced 20 first half turnovers using a swarming pressure defense against the Trojans. The Little Dutch finished the game with 12 players in the scorer’s column.

With the win Pella, improved to 6-1 overall, with a 4-1 conference record. A tough road lies ahead for the Little Dutch, though, as they’ll play 4 consecutive road game against, arguably, 3 out of the top 4 teams in the Little Hawkeye Conference. That includes matchups against Grinnell and Pella Christian, followed by Norwalk; who defeated them in Pella earlier this season. In the middle of that mix is a clash with Class 2A leader PCM.
