The Pella girls basketball team began the 2011 portion of their schedule with a dominating win last night, as they blew past Oskaloosa in a 66-20 victory.  The Lady Dutch opened the game with red hot shooting and a suffocating defense; jumping out to a 25-2 first quarter lead – which only grew as the game wore on.

Three players reached double figures in scoring for Pella, led by 14 points from Lindsay Bentzinger; while post players Mackenzie Anthony and Regan Cooper each chipped in 11 points.  With the win over Oskaloosa, the Pella girls are now 5-1 overall this season and 4-0 in the Little Hawkeye Conference going into a home game Friday against fellow conference front-runner South Tama.
