The Pella School Board is taking a wait-and-see approach to possible budget cuts that could happen with a new state legislature. Marv Van Wyk, president of the Pella School Board says the board can’t make any decisions about possible budget implications until they know for sure what cuts will be imposed. He says the board has already made sure that this year’s budget is based on a full revenue stream, and doesn’t count on money that won’t be available for the full term. Van Wyk added that the board will be prepared for possible cuts, but can’t overreact.
