Former Pleasantville Softball Ace Pitcher Chelsea Thomas is set to embark on her second sophomore season with the University of Missouri Softball squad. Thomas was having an All-American season when she suffered a stress fracture in her pitching wrist following her 13th appearance and was forced to sit out the remainder of the season. Thomas was able to get a medical hardship redshirt and will now be able to play for the Tigers for three more seasons. The Tigers are also expected to do great things this season as they are coming off their second straight Women’s College World Series appearance. Missouri is also picked to finish second in the Big 12 this season.
