The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in special session yesterday to discuss the 2011-2012 fiscal year budget. Auditor Jake Grandia says the six and a half hour meeting included a review of the budget process followed by presentations on budget requests from the County Engineer, County Attorney and Public Heath Department. No formal action was taken and there will be additional budget sessions with other county offices next week.
