Tickets are still available for the Pella/Pella Christian varsity basketball games tonight. Dollars for scholars is hosting a soup supper prior to the game beginning at 4:30PM. Tickets for the game can be purchased at either high school office or at the game.

Both Pella and Pella Christian have had to deal with postponed games this week, and both teams are sure to be ready to go for the cross-town showdown tonight.

The Lady Eagles and Lady Dutch will each enter the game with records of 6-2, although Pella is one up on Pella Christian when it comes to the Little Hawkeye Conference standings.
Pella Christian has won 4 out of 5 games, while Pella has taken 6 out of their last 7 after a season opening loss to Ballard.

South Tama sits atop the conference with an undefeated record of 5-0. Pella is currently second with a 4-1 conference mark, followed by Norwalk and Pella Christian, each 3-1.

The Eagles will be attempting to win their 3rd consecutive game after wins over South Tama and Newton by a combined 63 points. Pella meanwhile, has won their last two games by a combined 68 points.

The Eagles are 6-2 on the year, with a 3-1 conference record. With a win, Pella Christian would leapfrog Pella in the Little Hawkeye Conference.

The Little Dutch have won 3 in a row, with a gritty win over Oskaloosa on January 4th, sandwiched between two decisive wins over Newton and South Tama. Pella is 6-1 on the year and 4-1 in conference play. The Little Dutch are just one-half game back of Little Hawkeye Conference leader Norwalk.

You can hear both the games live on 92.1FM KRLS and KNIAKRLS.com with Eric Grillaert and Eric Gotschall providing the call.
