Boys action in the Bluegrass conference tournament begins tonight as Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars take to the hard wood. The Saints open up play as the four seed and will take on Moravia at Moulton-Udell at six-15. The Saints have twice beaten the MoHawks this year by scores of 66/56 and 59/54. In game one it was Robert Bingham’s 31 points that led Melcher-Dallas to a win, in game two forward Ross Dawson put up 18 to lead the Saints to victory. Melcher-Dallas is a perfect three-and-oh after the holiday break, staying alive in the Bluegrass conference championship race. Twin Cedars grabbed the six seed and will open up first round action at Moulton-Udell against the host school. The Sabers and the Eagles have not squared off yet this year. Twin Cedars is still searching for its first win after the holidays. The winners of those games will advance to semifinal action Friday at Diagonal.
