KNIA/KRLS’ Dr. Bob Leonard will kick off this years Writers Reading Series at Central College. Dr. Leonard will read from his book “Yellow Cab” about his time as a cab driver in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The book was also the basis of a stage production that played to 12 sold out audiences in Albuquerque in 2007. The event is funded by a grant from Humanities Iowa, the local arm of the National Endowment of the Humanities. The reading will take place Thursday January 27th at 7:30 PM at the Cox-Snow Recital Hall at Central College and is free and open to the public.
