Award Offered for Information on December’s Bomb Threat at 3M

The Knoxville Police Department continues to investigate a bomb threat that occurred at the Knoxville 3M plant in December. As previously reported on KNIA/KRLS, the plant was evacuated for roughly 3 hours Wednesday December 8th after someone phoned in a bomb threat. The police department and 3M Company are now offering an award of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person response for the threat.

Anyone with information regarding the case is encouraged to contact local law enforcement or call the 828-0541 and leave a message on the tip line.
