Central College men’s tennis team lost 6-3 to Cornell College Saturday in Mount Vernon.

Sophomore Bryn Boswell picked up two wins for the Dutch, taking a 6-2, 6-3 victory in No. 3 singles before pairing up with senior Jacob Dreyer at No. 2 doubles in an 8-6 triumph. Senior Dan Bowser also won, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 1 singles.

Freshman Kyle Freischlag battled at No. 4 singles before falling in a three-set match and junior Seth Harris had a strong showing at No. 2 singles before slipping in a tiebreaker.

The Dutch (3-7) travel to Grinnell Saturday, facing Carroll Univ. at 12:30 p.m. before tackling Grinnell College at 4 p.m.
