Area first responders are taking the necessary precautions to do their best to respond to emergency calls as a blizzard makes its way through Marion County. According to Marion County Sheriff Ron Goemaat, each fire and rescue department in the county has compiled a list of snowmobiles available to them along with the people who have volunteered to assist the first responders if necessary during this blizzard.

Pictured in this story – employees at Reed’s Automotive in Knoxville tuned up and tested a snowmobile this afternoon so that the Knoxville Rural Fire Department can use it if necessary to access emergency situations.
