The Iowa legislature is working to create a more favorable climate for job creation in the state. Senate Minority Leader Paul McKinley tells KNIA/KRLS news the governor’s office, house and senate are working together to explore changes to the business rules and regulations currently in place. He says there will be 10 hearings across the state about the proposed changes and they hope to be able to get a lot of work done that will allow people to create jobs. McKinley says this is the first shot at getting Iowa’s economy growing again and having a place for our young people to come back and be employed so they do not need to relocate out of state to find work.
