Knoxville is one of team teams that have qualified for the State Bowling tournament this Thursday in Des Moines. Knoxville had the ninth best pin total of the team qualifying teams during substates. While any coach will tell you that may not mean much as all ten teams played on different bowling lanes, it does give a good gauge of how tough the individual substates were. Individually for Knoxville, Daniel Goad leads the Panthers with a total of 2,411 pins this season. The State Tournament starts at around one this Thursday at Plaza Lanes in Des Moines.
