The Knoxville City Council met in regular session last night. At the meeting the council approved appointments to the Mayor’s Youth Council, held a hearing in regards to a tobacco violation by a local convenience store and accepted a $300 civil penalty which will be paid to the city, set a public hearing date for February 21st in regards to the sale of real property to Habitat for Humanity, approved a bid from Iowa Insulation for $11,300 for insulation repair at city hall and approved an enterprise zone program agreement with Weiler Industries and the Iowa Department of Economic Development.
