The final numbers have been counted and Knoxville’s 3rd annual Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser raised a total of $24,613. This is more than double last year’s total of $12,000 which earned Knoxville the title of top Coaches vs. Cancer in the state. Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Jim Uitermarkt says he’s very proud of how Knoxville came together and appreciates all the continued community support. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised will go to the American Cancer Society to help in the fight against cancer.
