21 turnovers and hitting just 39-percent of their shots took their toll on Knoxville last night in girl’s basketball. In a game heard live on AM 1320 KNIA, The Panthers fell to Norwalk 43-41 as both teams were unable to get any kind of continuity the first half with defense and turning the ball over. The Panthers did come back from down seven with two minutes to go but ran out of time as they had the lead down to two with just a second to play. Coach Jim Utiermarkt said a small situation even at the start of the game could have been big. Alex Abens had a season high 20 points in the loss which drops Knoxville to 7-13 on the season and 4-9 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
