Knoxville High School Half of Fame To Grow By 4 After Today

It is induction day today for three individuals and one team that excelled in athletics at Knoxville High School. Former Boys Track and Field Coach Mike Cunningham who took the Panthers to the 1991 state title; Dwane Crozier who was a multi-sport athlete at Knoxville and made the final cut for an N-F-L team and played in the Canadian Football League; Mark Rowland who helped lead the Knoxville Football Squad to a seven-and-two record in 1978 and earned elite all-state; and the 1946 Indoor State Track and Field Team will be honored tonight in between the girls and boys games with Pella. Fans who purchased a ticket to the Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon today are invited to be at the Red Rock Cultural Center at noon for a chance to get up close with the inductees. No tickets will be available at the door.
