The Knoxville Wrestling Squad will hit the postseason as the Panthers travel to Newton for the class 3A district this Saturday. Coach Eric Whitcome is confident that his team can have a good day and place high in the team standings, plus get as many as four or five guys to the state meet. The last two weeks of the season was a challenge for the Panthers due to injury and illness, but Whitcome says they are nearly at 100% and are ready to get the district started. The top two individuals will advance to the state meet held at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines February 16th-through-19th.
