The Knoxville Rotary Club continues to live by their motto of “Service Above Self” as they focus on building the Knoxville Community. The local club started up twelve years ago and since then they have helped the community in a variety of ways including providing scholarships for graduating seniors, purchasing playground equipment for area parks and donating hundreds of dollars and pounds of food to the KNIA/KRLS food drive. The service organization is currently 64 members strong but is always looking to add to the club. Meetings are held each Wednesday at noon and if you’re interested in joining call Christine Buttell at 842-1430 or Jim Butler at 842-3161.
