After belting B-G-M in the first round of the class one-A district, the Melcher-Dallas boys basketball squad will travel to another South Iowa Cedar League team in Lynnville-Sully. The Hawks are 20-2 on the season and according to Saints Coach Jim Wells are tall and athletic. He adds the Hawks also run a patient offense and have a very good defense. The Saints and Hawks play Tuesday night with the winner heading to Meskwaki Settlement to take on either H-L-V or North Tama in the district final.
