After belting B-G-M in the first round of the class 1A district, the Melcher-Dallas boys basketball squad will travel to another South Iowa Cedar League team in Lynnville-Sully. The Hawks are 20-2 on the season and according to Saints Coach Jim Wells are tall and athletic. In its win over B-G-M last week, Melcher-Dallas placed four players in double figures and shot well from the field. The Saints and Hawks play Tuesday night with the winner heading to Meskwaki Settlement to take on either H-L-V or North Tama in the district final.
