Knoxville wanted to out do last years $12,000 total during their Coaches vs. Cancer event Saturday night. Mission accomplished as Knoxville stepped up and helped raise over $22,000 for the American Cancer Society. According to Angie Utiermarkt, the total will likely go higher when they figure in admission and concession stand money. Over 1,500 people came out to the event that started with alumni basketball games, and silent auction during the basketball games. Knoxville lost both games to Carlisle.
