McGinnis Loses Appeal Case

Sheriff’s Deputies Help Convict Williamson Man of Manufacturing Methamphetamine

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office aided the South Central Iowa Drug Task Force and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement in an investigation on a Williamson man who was found guilty by a U.S. District Court jury for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

Schrad Finds Iowa Workforce Development Service Shift to the Local Level Ironic

“May I Be Frank” Screening At Central College

Central College will be hosting a screening of the film “May I Be Frank”. Tara Prine and Max Seeman, Peer Educators at Central College say the film tells the story 54 year old Frank Ferrante’s story of struggle with depression and drugs. There will also be a question and answer session following the screening with Ferrante and the film’s director. The film will be shown Tuesday March 1st at 7pm at the Douwstra Auditorium and is free and open to the public.
