The Pella boys completed the season sweep of South Tama Thursday night by a final score of 87-18 in a game broadcast on 92.1 FM KRLS and streamed live at kniakrls.com.

It was a surprisingly slow start for Pella, who led 17-9 after the first quarter, but the Little Dutch quickly gained their composure and held South Tama to just 3 second quarter points. They took a 48-12 lead into the locker room.

Pella would come out in the second half with running clock, and the route was on.

Kyle Newendorp had a game-high 19 points, while Chris Bandstra had 11. All 14 players that dressed had marks in the scoring column.

Pella improves to 14-3 overall with the win, and 11-2 in conference action. They are tied with Norwalk for the conference lead. Pella will head to Knoxville tonight for their final conference game of the season. You can hear Pella at Knoxville on 92.1 FM KRLS and streamed live at kniakrls.com.
