The Pella Christian boys will have their chance to go to the Class 2A State Tournament tonight when they face off against Panorama at Indianola High School. The Eagles enter the game at 19-5, while the Panthers are 18-6.

The Eagles are in the substate after wins over Eddyville-Blakesburg and Pekin before knocking off Davis County in the District Final. The Panthers beat I35, Des Moines Christian and then Nodaway Valley in their District Final.

The only common opponent for the two teams is Des Moines Christian. Panorama lost to Des Moines Christian twice in the regular season by 34 points at home and 8 points on the road. Then, the Panthers advanced to the District Final by going to Des Moines Christian and winning by 5 points. The Eagles played, and beat Des Moines Christian in their only meeting of the year, 84-73.
