A Pella High School student has been selected to move on for final consideration for a nationally recognized academic award. Jake Anderson, a senior at Pella High School, is in the running for the Presidential Scholarship Program. The program recognizes the nation’s most distinguished graduating seniors. If chosen as a finalist, Anderson will receive an expenses-paid trip to Washington DC to receive the US Presidential Scholars medallion in June. Anderson plans on attending the University of Nebraska next year to study Computer Science and Business.
