The Lady Dutch couldn’t find their shot until the second half, but the defense was never in doubt as they went on to be Carlisle Saturday night, 39-21.

It was a slow first half in a game heard 92.1FM KRLS and kniakrls.com. Pella had an 8-5 lead after one quarter, and the three point lead held at the half, 14-11.

The Lady Dutch would come out looking much better in the third quarter, as they outscored Carlisle 14-7, taking a 28-18 lead into the final quarter.

As it turned out, Pella could’ve gotten away without scoring in the final eight minutes, outscoring Carlisle 11-3.

Lindsay Bentzinger was the only player in the game with double figures withh 11 points. Kelsey Fynaardt added 8.
