The Pleasantville Girls Basketball Squad fell in first round class 2A Regional action Saturday night to Eddyville-Blakesburg 64-54. The Trojans struggled with a size disadvantage all night and game up numerous offensive rebounds. Pleasantville also had 18 turnovers and many were cashed in by the Rockets. Coach Trevor Miller said the size advantage Eddyville-Blakeburg had was tough to overcome. Miller added that the Rockets employed a box-and-one defense which further complicated things when they would collapse on any drive to the basket. Konner Gordon led Pleasantville with 12 points as the Trojans finish the season at 13-9.
