Updates to the emergency warning and siren system, park and bike trail improvements, economic development and road improvements are just a few of the projects that would be funded through Local Option Sales and Services Tax funds in Pleasantville if voters choose to renew it next week. A town hall meeting to discuss the matter and answer any questions about how the tax will benefit both Pleasantville and the unincorporated areas of Marion County will be held Wednesday evening in the Pleasantville High School Cafeteria.

The meeting will begin at 7pm and all residents are encouraged to attend.
