A slow start for Knoxville last night against Centerville hampered any upset bid the Panthers may have had as the Big Red defeated Knoxville in the Class 3-A boys district tournament 65-37; heard live on AM 1320 KNIA. The Panthers found themselves in a 22-4 hole after the first quarter and never recovered. Though the rest of the game was relatively even, Coach Clint Driftmier said the slow start is what did in his team last night. Lance Daugherty led Knoxville with eight points. The Panthers finish the season at 3-19.
