Three area basketball players have been chosen to play on the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association all-star games next Saturday at Dallas Center-Grimes High School. Picked for the black southwest team is Pella Christian’s Kyle Nikkel…who led the Eagles to the Class 2A State Tournament and on the girl’s southwest team is Makenzie Vander Molen of Pella. Vander Molen led the Lady Dutch in scoring at ten-point-six points per game, and was outstanding at the free throw line at nearly 79%. Also picked for the Southwest red team is P-C-M Jordan Wood. Wood led the Mustang to a 17-6 season.
