Mexico or Florida may be more popular destinations for spring break, but nine Central College students are returning today from a different kind of vacation.

This week, Assistant Professor of Biology Paulina Mena accompanied her students to Moab, Utah to work with Plateau Restoration. The students worked with that organization to restore native habitats around the Colorado Plateau, which covers areas of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. This was the third year for the alternative spring break at Central.
