Today is the last day to pay the second half of the year’s property taxes without penalty. Payments can be made in person at Marion County Treasurer’s office, located in the Courthouse, though property owners will need to bring their payment stubs along with their check or money order. Those who plan to mail in their property taxes must have them postmarked by today and can send them to P.O. Box 515 in Knoxville. Payments can also be made online for a reduced e-check fee of $.40 per transaction, at www.iowatreasurers.org.
