This Saturday begins the 2011 version of the Knoxville Boys Soccer season. The Panthers are coming off a storybook season that saw them break into the state tournament for the first time in team history. The panthers are set to travel to the A-D-M Invitational which they have fared well in the past couple of season. Coach Jon Smith says this season will be different from even last year since everyone knows that Knoxville is an up and coming program. Knoxville will play Des Moines East, the team the Panthers lost to in the championship game of the A-D-M Invitational last season, following the match against the Scarlets the Panthers will take on class 1A state tournament team from 2010 Council Bluffs St. Albert.
