Knoxville Boys Track Forced To Wait To Open Outdoor Season

Knoxville will have to wait until Friday for the boy’s outdoor season opener in track and field. The Simpson College Outdoor meet was canceled yesterday due to cold temperatures forecast. The Panthers are scheduled to travel to the Husky Invitational in Winterset this Friday which would open the outdoor portion of the season. Coach Mike Cunningham the Second says the guys are looking forward to the start of the outdoor season, in other related sports, the Twin Cedars girls track and field meet was canceled last night. The Sabers were scheduled to travel to the Belle Plaine Invitational.
