The Knoxville City Council has a busy Saturday planned as they look to hire a new City Manager. The council will convene in a work session at 8am to set public hearings dates for the 2011 sidewalk and paving contracts on April 4th at 6:15pm followed by closed session as they interview the selected City Manager candidates. The council and City staff will interview each candidate separately Saturday morning before the two groups debrief together and the council chooses the best suited candidate and approves a contract.
