Knoxville had a productive day at the Little Hawkeye Conference Girls Indoor Meet on Friday. The Panthers had 11 place winners including five in either first or second. Getting first place medals was Amy Turner in the 60 meter and Lydia Anderson in the 800. Second place finishers were, Alissa Van Klootwyk in the 1500, Chambray Daugherty in the high jump, and Katie Ayers in the shot put. Coach Jeremy Van Engen said the girls performed well for the first time out. Knoxville’s next time in competition is the Central College High School Indoor on March 19th.
