A Knoxville High School graduate is now working in the Marion County Attorney’s office. Krissy Link began her new position this week as the county’s Victim and Witness Coordinator whose job is to assist in criminal prosecution efforts in Marion County. Link’s duties include assisting the attorney and assistant attorney in providing support, information, and community based resources for victims of criminal cases.

Marion County Attorney Ed Bull says they’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Link to their team. He says her background as working in the same position in Warren County previously has prepared her well to assist the people of Marion County. Bull says prior to her job in Warren County, Link served as the director of victim service sex abuse program and she is certified by the Iowa Coalition against Domestic Violence, Iowa Coalition against Sexual Assault and Iowa organization for victim assistance.
