Customers of the Red Rock Lake Marina have been given official notice on the state of the facility, and plans for its operation this year. As previously reported by KNIA/KRLS News, the Marina is in receivership following a lawsuit claiming the operators of the Marina owed more than a million dollars to the Polk County Bank. Kurt Mumm, President of the Des Moines Region of Ruhl and Ruhl Commercial Company, sent slip holders a letter indicating that organization as the receivers of the facility. In the letter, Mumm asks customers to hold on to payments until further notice is given in early April. He says their first order of business is the installation of security cameras and monitors, and they plan to have the docks turned in by this week.
