One major thing that Coach John Sunkten was trying to get his girls basketball squad to do was to shoot more. Sunkten says after midseason they girls started to face up and put the ball up. He says they got more confident as the season worn and by the end of the season not only where the shooting more, but making more of their shots. He adds overall…that’s one thing the team needs to work on for next season. Melcher-Dallas shot just 32% as a team and averaged 42 points per game. The Saints finished with a record of 6-15.
