A trial date has been set for a Knoxville man charged with murder in the first degree. 42 year-old Michael Jamey Miller is one of two men facing the charge in the Teresa Louise Miller murder case which occurred south of Knoxville earlier this year.

Michael allegedly paid co-worker Terry Tobias Cobbins Jr. to kill his wife Teresa, who was shot in her home on January 7th.

Michael’s trial is set to begin at 9:30am on Tuesday May 10th in the Marion County Courthouse with a pretrial conference scheduled for April 8th. As previously reported on KNIA/KRLS he entered a written not guilty plea on March 2nd.

Michael is still being held in the Marion County jail, where he has been since his arrest in January 11th. Cobbins remains in the Milwaukee County jail awaiting extradition.
