One of the biggest surprises for the Knoxville Girls Track and Field Squad during the preseason is the middle distance races. Coach Jeremy Van Engen says Sophomore Lydia Anderson ran a personal best at the conference indoor meet last week. He says Anderson is more consistent this season. He adds some freshman like Erica Fee…and Courtney Hughes will help out the middle distances. Van Engen says distance runners alike Alissa Van Klootwyk and Hannah Wallace will also run middle distances as well.
