Seventh grade students from Pella Christian made a visit to the Capitol for a visit with their local legislators. The students met with Senate Minority Leader Paul McKinley of Chariton and Representative Jim Van Engelenhoven of Pella. Van Engelenhoven says the spring term is a popular time for trips like this, and says the statehouse hosts many young visitors learning more about government.
