P-C-M’s dream of an unbeaten season and a state championship ended yesterday afternoon as Western Christian defeated the Mustangs 58-47 in the class 2A semi-finals. The Wolfpack dominated play from the start building a 20 point lead in the third quarter. However P-C-M would go on a 20-9 run to cut the lead to nine with just over three minutes remaining. But when Scott Bruxvoort fouled out with 2:52 remaining, P-C-M would get no closer. Bruxvoort led all scorers with 17 points. P-C-M drops to 26-1 on the season and will play today at 11:45 in the class 2A third place game against North Cedar, you can hear it on 92.1 KRLS starting at 11:30 following a special edition Marion County Midday Magazine at 11.
