A number of adjectives come to mind when trying to describe the 2010-2011 edition of the Pella boys basketball, but the one that may be most fitting of the Little Dutch is “hustle”.  The high-energy, high-pressure style of play employed by the Pella boys was sometimes dizzying to keep up with, but it was always exciting to watch; as the Little Dutch would often go at least twelve players deep in the roster to keep fresh legs on the floor.  

Pella Head Coach Mark Core the energy and passion with with his team played made for a thrilling display of basketball on any given night.

“I do believe our guys had tremendous character, chemistry, and great hustle and [work] ethic; that I just know that people who watched our team this season really appreciated the effort that these guys gave,” said Core.

The Pella boys basketball team finished the season with an overall record of 19-4 and were co-champions in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
