Seven Central College student-athletes have earned spots on the academic all-Iowa Conference winter team.  Four of the honorees are members of the women’s basketball team while three are from the wrestling squad.

Among those cited are junior wrestler Reid Imerman, a 2009-10 National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American, and junior basketball player Sarah Paulson a 2010-11 honorable mention league pick.  This is also the third straight season basketball player Jordan Waddell has received the honor. All three additional basketball selections earned the honor last year, as did Imerman.

To qualify for the honor a student-athlete must compete in varsity play, be at least a sophomore in academic standing and achieve a 3.5 or better cumulative grade point average.  Central had 41 student-athletes on the fall sports squad.
