The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in special session Wednesday morning. The nearly three and a half hour meeting included discussion on several topics. Formal action was only taken on one item, as the Supervisors approved change order #4 for the North Annex building remodel project to replace 8 door pivots on the front entrance for a cost of $761.

Marion County Sheriff Ron Goemaat, Attorney Ed Bull and Auditor Jake Grandia recommended the board take advantage of the proposed inmate medical claims saver and budget protector services and action will be taken at the next regular meeting.

The board also discussed the plans for the Two Rivers Coop expansion project in Tracy and plans for future use of courthouse and public health facility office space.

Other items discussed include possible repairs at the Community Action Building and the County Care Facility along with a proposed 28E agreement with Warren County in regards to regional services provided by DHS.
